THE TONI BEAUCHAMP PRIZE IN CRITICAL ART WRITING
The Beauchamp Prize will consider submissions of work that have been written (or published) within the last year. A variety of creative approaches and formats to writing on the visual arts are encouraged, and can include thematic essays, exhibition reviews, and scholarly essays. Gulf Coast differs from many other literary journals in its commitment to exploring visual art and critical art writing. The journal has always featured portfolios by visual artists, along with short introductions from critics familiar with their work. This year's judge is Legacy Russell.

Groundswell Community Mural Project is looking for a Studio Associate. They will be responsible for assisting the Senior Studio Coordinator with our school and studio projects, including installations, and our project supply and scaffold schedule. These tasks will include, but not be limited to: coordinating with artists for supply orders and organization; assisting a delivery schedule in conjuncture with project schedules and worksite contacts; being on site for specific trainings, installations, and troubleshooting; and managing the flow of the studio space. The Studio Associate will need to be organized and flexible, with excellent communication skills and a solutions-oriented mindset. The Bronx Council on the Arts (BCA) is seeking applications from NYC curators for its Longwood Art Gallery @ Hostos Winter 2023 group exhibition Untold Narratives (January 18 – February 22, 2023). Untold Narratives will be a group exhibition featuring 8 to 10 artists and focusing on artworks created by artists of Middle Eastern, African, and Asian backgrounds / descents. Bringing to life intimate stories that have been largely ignored, the exhibition seeks to offer a glimpse into the artists’ communities and explore connections between the past and present.

NYC MURAL ARTS PROJECT 22-23 CALL FOR ARTISTS
Nyc-based artists, NYC Murals Arts Project wants to hear from you! NYCMAP is currently seeking (3) muralists to partner with from October 2022 - June 2023 on (3) new projects! Co-lead (21) weekly art workshops and (4) public programs with community members in order to collaboratively create the mural’s theme and design. Oversee the installation (June 2023) of a 2,000-4,000 sq. ft. public artwork. NYCMAP provides artists with a $21,000 honorarium on a deliverables-based contract, studio space to paint the mural panels, and training/certification to operate installation equipment.

BLOOMBERG ASPHALT ART: CALL FOR CREATIVE PROPOSALS

The Joyce Awards is the only regional program dedicated to supporting artists of color in major Great Lakes cities. SUGARHILL CHILDREN'S MUSEUM OF ART & STORYTELLING
The Sugar Hill Children's Museum of Art & Storytelling is offering an 8-month residency for one visual artist. The selected artist will be granted a non-living studio, a $8,000 honorarium and the possibility of earning additional income by leading workshops with museum patrons. Artists will have access to a 450 square-foot studio space where they will be expected to work a minimum of 15 hours per week and present their projects by participating in open studio activities and events. For this residency, the Museum is looking to award one visual artist whose artistic practice will resonate with children ages three to eight and their families, and reflect a relationship to the demographics, location and/or history of Sugar Hill.
