AFROFUTURIST TEEN ADVISORY COUNCIL
The MET is searching for interested teens for this unique and exciting opportunity to explore science fiction, art, history, technology, music, film, and Black cultures. This program invites young people to engage with Afrofuturism, the transdisciplinary creative mode that centers Black imagination and self-determination. Program participants attend workshops with artists, scholars, and experts; conduct research between the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture and The Met’s libraries; develop programming in collaboration with educators, curators, staff, and interns; and connect with creative professionals as they develop their skills, network, and gain career experience.

Following the release of the Bronx Brewery Y-Series Blacktop Imperial Stout beer release on Saturday, January 15th, they will be hosting a live mural battle. They are looking for 3 artists to compete live in front of fans on the 15th at 6pm. Each artists will be provided a canvas to create a "Pets in NYC" themed art piece. Artists may choose to work with the preferred medium of your choice and will be given 1-hour to complete. Museum Professionals Seminar is a program designed to provide professional development inspired by the Studio Museum’s mission. The Seminar is a series of educational workshops aimed at supporting museum professionals looking to incubate, ideate, and network. The program promotes discussion, interaction, and exposure with special attention to skill-building and career-readiness. NJ CLIMATE RESILIENCE PUBLIC ART PROJECT
The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection and the New Jersey State Council on the Arts are pleased to present this call for artists as part of the Coastal Risk Communications Campaign. The Grant Program has selected three (3) New Jersey community-based organizations (CBO’s) to be paired with artists that specialize in environmental topics to create art installations in specific locations within New Jersey’s coastal zone. Selected artist(s) will be paired with the CBO’s to develop and implement an art project that is both artistically excellent, and communicates to the public coastal hazards impacts, risks and actions that can be taken to reduce the risk of climate impacts.

NARS Foundation’s current open call accepts rolling applications from NY based artists who are in need of temporary studio space and unable to afford it. he subsidized Studio Space will only be available for the stated period.
