Flushing Town Hall (FTH), (aka Flushing Council on Culture and the Arts) is a multi-disciplinary non-profit arts organization serving Queens, the NYC region and beyond, whose mission is to bring people together by presenting traditional, contemporary and cross-cultural arts and culture from around the globe. FTH is a member of NYC’s Cultural Institutions Group (CIG) and a Smithsonian Affiliate. FTH seeks a flexible full-time Curator and Community Liaison, Chinese Initiatives. FTH’s definition of Chinese is inclusive of, and not limited to people who are of Chinese descent and self-identify as Chinese/Chinese-American. All Street is a new space for alternative art, creative productions, and community gathering. Located on E 3rd St between 1st and 2nd Avenue, the gallery is in a bustling area on the Lower East Side. Artists of all mediums to apply for a month-long residency. Our goal is to give artists at any stage in their career an opportunity to showcase their talent and network within our community. Artists have the option to have work shown at the gallery or online during this month. "Reporting to the Deputy Director for Grants and Programs, the Programs and Outreach Associate (POA) is responsible for supporting the work of the programs/grants department and for outreach and education efforts on behalf of BCA. The POA will maintain significant interaction with artists, arts organizations, community groups and others with the goal of informing constituents of BCA’s resources and opportunities. He/She also will provide support to the programs/grants department. To be successful in this role, the POA will need to have prior in project coordination and administration. The Whitney Museum has an immediate opening for a full-time, temporary curatorial project assistant to work on a variety of curatorial projects. The central focus of this role will be a survey exhibition of a living contemporary artist, opening at the Whitney Museum in spring 2023. The incumbent will work alongside the exhibitions’ curators to realize the exhibitions, publication, and related programs. The Curatorial Project Assistant will also provide secondary support for smaller scale collection-based shows opening in fall of 2022. The position will end May 31, 2023.

Newark Arts established the ArtStart Grant Program in 2001 specifically to nurture arts and cultural activities throughout the City of Newark and to enhance the capacity of Newark’s non-profit organizations, schools, and individual artists to provide arts-based projects throughout the City’s five wards. ArtsWestchester is proud to be the recipient of a $500,000 grant to support economic development and promote tourism in the City of White Plains through the arts.The Market New York grant from I LOVE NY/New York State’s Division of Tourism was awarded to ArtsWestchester through the State's Regional Economic Development Council initiative. The funding supports the multi-day Serious Fun Arts Festival, a 5-day public art happening taking over White Plains from October 12-16, 2022. The event showcases the talent of the region’s outstanding pool of creative workers, including visual, performing and literary artists. Tri-state area artists are invited to submit their current work and public art visions for potential inclusion in the festival. ArtsWestchester seeks qualifications and proposals from visual artists and artist collectives for the Serious Fun Arts Festival, an initiative that will culminate in a 5-day public arts festival from October 12-16, 2022, featuring a public art walk, open studios, performing arts, art and dance parties, programming for families and more. Elements of the art walk will remain as an attraction and display of White Plain’s cultural vibrancy after the festival.

The Citi Bike’s official wellness partner, Healthfirst is the presenter of the Reduced Fare Bike Share program and supporter of their equity efforts. DARWIN STREET ART FESTIVAL 2022
"The 2022 Darwin Street Art Festival will take place in August/September (dates to be announced). MoMA PS1 offers blended internships with onsite and remote opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students and beginning professionals with practical experience in a specific area of museum work. The Quick Grant program awards reimbursement funds up to $600 to California artists, creatives, cultural practitioners, and cultural producers, and San Francisco/San Jose nonprofit arts administrators to participate in professional development activities that build administrative capacity, hone business skills, and strengthen the financial sustainability of the grantee’s practice, area of cultural production, or arts organization. NATIONAL PR DAY PARADE Scholarship NFT Fund Raiser
The National Puerto Rican Day Parade (@PRParadeNYC) takes place annually along Fifth Avenue in Manhattan, on the second Sunday in June, in honor of the nearly 8 million inhabitants of Puerto Rico and over 4 million people of Puerto Rican birth or heritage residing in the United States. NPRDP has teamed up with @MowsseHowsse, an NFT (Non-Fungible Token) Marketplace, a fully curated NFT platform by creatives for creatives. Together they will be launching an NFT collection highlighting Puerto Rican artists established and up and coming to raise money for the NPRDP Scholarship Fund. This collection of NFTs will feature artworks that draw inspiration from iconic symbols of Puerto Rican culture: The Coqui, El Morro, Puerto Rican Nature, the Flag and Culture in general.

PUBLIC ART RESIDENCY GRANT (FALL)
This Public Art Mural Grant is a four-week residency in which an artist will create an original work for WSW’s mural wall. The mural space at Women’s Studio Workshop faces the Wallkill Valley Rail Trail (WVRT), which is an active outdoor public trail used primarily for walking, running and cycling. We estimate that approximately 3,000-5,000 WVRT users pass by our facilities on a monthly basis, many coming onto our campus to view the current mural, or inquire about the organization. The mural space is 10′ x 23.5′ and overlooks our new, ADA accessible patio and community gathering area. In 2021 and beyond, we hope to build new programs that will bring people together here and connect them with the art and artists at WSW.

BronxArtSpace (BAS) invites applicants with a strong affiliation with the Bronx to submit proposals for this thematic group exhibition to be presented in BAS’ new space on 700 Manida at Hunts Point. Works will be selected by invitation. The application is open to artists of all mediums and organizations with the desire to partner. The curators Beverly Emers and Kimberly Roa Tejera are inviting artists, activists and the community to join them in solidarity to explore solutions to gun violence through art and food justice while honoring the spirit of family and food as prevention. Emers and Roa Tejera also aim to raise awareness towards food insecurity in the Bronx and how it correlates with mental & behavioral health and gun violence.

COOPERSTOWN PUBLIC ART PROJECT
Destination Marketing Corporation (DMC), better known as This Is Cooperstown, is partnering with local tourism businesses to add a cluster of murals throughout the greater Cooperstown area. DMC is seeking proposals for creative concepts from skilled artists. Often times, the thriving art scene is overshadowed by Cooperstown’s baseball reputation. Through the use of colorful murals, DMC aims to showcase how baseball and art can beautifully coexist. These murals will bring the area’s artist community to the visitors in unexpected, high-traffic places. DMC encourages the submission of proposals by all interested parties. Proposals from established and emerging artists, individuals and teams, are encouraged.

The Andy Warhol Foundation Arts Writers Grant supports emerging and established writers who write about contemporary visual art. Ranging from $15,000 to $50,000 in three categories—articles, books, and short-form writing—the grants support projects addressing both general and specialized art audiences, from short reviews for magazines and newspapers to in-depth scholarly studies. The program also supports art writing that engages criticism through interdisciplinary methods and experiments with literary styles.

LUCE INDIGENOUS KNOWLEDGE FELLOWSHIP
First Nations will award 10 fellowships of $75,000 each to 10 outstanding Native knowledge holders and knowledge makers engaged in meaningful work that benefits Indigenous people and communities in either reservation and/or urban settings. These fellowships support the work of Native knowledge holders and knowledge makers as they significantly advance their work and spark transformative change in their communities. In this sense, community is broadly defined and can include your Native community, knowledge community, etc.

Allez! is looking for 7-14 artists (or art teams!) to create smaller mural works which exemplify the theme: "Identity". This show will have a single word “theme” to give the artists a jumping off point, but still keep the show cohesive. Artists are invited to create on smaller quarter or half panels (see our Layout options below), so that we can feature as many as 14 artists on the wall, and is a great option for artists just starting out in the mural arts. The exhibit will run the second Friday of March through the end of June 2023.

The Newark Community Museum & Center for Restorative Justice (Museum) will transform the City’s historic 1st Police Precinct - the site of the beating of taxi driver, John Smith, by police officers which sparked the City’s 1967 rebellion - into a site for community healing and restoration. Housed alongside the newly created Office of Violence Prevention, Trauma and Recovery (OVPTR), the Museum will use storytelling and artist-led programming and exhibitions to interpret Newark’s history of resistance, culture, and empowerment to educate and inspire a more just and equitable society. The Museum seeks a visionary leader to serve as its inaugural Director & Chief Curator (Director). The Director will work closely with the Mayor’s Office and the MAC in developing and articulating the vision and strategic direction of the Museum and its realization in the 1st Precinct. Thereafter, the Director will be responsible for curatorial leadership and overall operations including exhibitions, fiscal leadership, public programming, partnerships, and communications.

The City of Norwalk Connecticut and the Norwalk Arts Commission is soliciting a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for artists and artists’ teams for a site-specific outdoor public art project that will be installed at the Metro North Underpass at Monroe Street in Norwalk, CT. The established budget for the project is $25,000-$50,000 (subject to change). Artists working in 2-D media are invited to apply. The call is open to all local and national artists and artist teams.
