CCCADI CURATORIAL FELLOWSHIP IN AFRO-CARIBBEAN ART-

The CCCADI Curatorial Fellowship in Afro-Caribbean Art is dedicated to emerging curators of color committed to the artistic and cultural production of the Afro-Caribbean and its Diaspora, including the Dutch, English, French, and Spanish-speaking Caribbean. The year-long Curatorial Fellowship will provide mentorship, curatorial training, and institutional support to Ten Fellows. The goals are to elevate and deepen Fellows’ curatorial practice and knowledge of Caribbean African Diaspora Art and culture; advance professional development; and exchange ideas and best practices with notable curators, scholars, artists, and cultural workers about important issues in the field.

ART ON THE MART RFQ CALL

Art on theMART is seeking artists to submit their qualifications to be commissioned to create an original artwork with accompanying sound to be projected as part of Art on theMART. Art on theMART is an innovative digital public art platform. Artists working in any media may apply, but those with experience in new media, animation, projection, film and video are especially encouraged to present their credentials.

THE PEOPLE”S PLAYGROUND MURAL PROJECT RFP

The Alliance for Coney Island is commissioning 5 public artworks to go on metal storefronts along Surf Avenue. The Alliance for Coney Island’s “The People's Playground” mural project aims to honor the rich and long history of Coney Island as it transitioned from the  Dutch’s Island of wild rabbits to it earning its nickname as the “People’s Playground”.

RODDENBERRY FELLOWSHIP

The Roddenberry Fellowship is a $1mil investment in the innovators, community leaders, and changemakers leading the efforts for a more just and equitable country. The Roddenberry Fellowship is a 12-month program that offers Fellows $50,000 to take an existing initiative (e.g. campaign, organization) to the next level and amplify its impact OR to launch a new initiative.

WALTER GRANTS

WNDB is still accepting applications for its grant program to encourage unpublished work from writers & illustrators. WNDB will award 10 grants of $2,000 each to unpublished diverse illustrators.
