BRIGHT BRIDGES PROJECT MEDFORD, OR
The City of Medford , Oregon intends to provide a $15,000 stipend for a muralist to transform the underside of the East Main Street Bridge. East Main Street is the historic commercial street in downtown Medford. The City wishes to ameliorate these conditions and create a more welcoming environment through the Brighter Bridges Project, which envisions a series of under-bridge public art installations, including the East Main Street Bridge Mural.

COMMUNITY CREATIVE PLACEMAKING WAKEFORST, NC
The Wake Forest Public Art Commission seeks an artist of color for a creative placemaking project located in the Northeast community in Wake Forest, North Carolina. Design vision will rest on community feedback and a partnership with an artist of color to implement the community’s vision.
Eligibility: Any artist of color who resides in the United States is eligible.

West Harlem Development Corporation (WHDC) needs the help of local West Harlem (MCD9) artists to create a new and dynamic logo.
Eligibility: Must be a West Harlem/MCD9 resident (From 110th to 155th streets, from the Hudson River to Manhattan, Morningside, St. Nicholas, Bradhurst, and Edgecombe Avenues).

To support the next generation of creatives, LIFEWTR is encourage creatives to enter for a chance to win $10,000 to fund their next fashion, film, music or visual arts endeavor, a dedicated mentorship session with Issa Rae to provide valuable advice and insights, and see their completed work added to the Life Unseen gallery on LIFEWTR.com. To enter, share an Instagram post on their public profile with #LifeUnseenContest, showcasing an image and/or description of a project they would like to create, from now until July 30, 2021. Five creatives will be announced later this summer, based on three key criteria including Power of Story, Creativity and Originality.

The Illuminations Grant for Black Trans Women Visual Artists, a $10,000 grant, supports visual artists who are self-identified Black trans women and trans femmes. Queer|Art is pleased to open applications for the second annual Illuminations Grant for Black Trans Women Visual Artists. The $10,000 grant, awarded to draw attention to an existing body of work, sheds light on the under-recognized contributions of Black trans women visual artists and provides critical support to their continuing work. Winning artists will receive additional professional development resources and further guidance to bolster their creative development in the field.
Eligibility: Self-identified Black trans women and trans femmes.
