Jamaica Center for Arts & Learning (JCAL): JCAL Mural Project
Requests proposals to design and execute a billboard-style institutional branding campaign, called the JCAL Mural Project, to be affixed to the fence of Jamaica Performing Arts Center. JCAL will review complete, qualified proposals from artists, graphic designers, architects, fabricators, copywriters and/or marketing firms, working singly or in combination.

Smack Mellon: Bound Up Together - On the 100th Anniversary of the 19th Amendment
Smack Mellon seeks submissions for works that acknowledge the achievements of the 19th Amendment, examine suffrage from a historical perspective and consider its complicated history. Artists are encouraged to submit work that engages with and interprets the theme of suffrage in an expansive way.

DOT Art:  Community Commissions 2020
DOT Art partners with community-based, nonprofit organizations and professional artists to present temporary public artwork on DOT property throughout the five boroughs for up to 11 months. Artists transform streets with colorful murals, dynamic projections and eye-catching sculptures.

NYC Department of Cultural Affairs: PAIR Program
The NYC Department of Cultural Affairs (DCLA) is seeking four artists to join its Public Artists in Residence (PAIR) program in 2020. An artist will be placed in residence with the following City agencies and offices: the Department of Sanitation, Mayor’s Office of Criminal Justice, the Civic Engagement Commission, and the Commission on Human Rights.

Crush Walls: Request for Artists

CRUSH WALLS has grown to become Colorado’s largest urban art event. Showcasing local and international talent, it has been bringing art out of the galleries and into the streets from its very inception, reaching a pinnacle of 100+ public art murals last year.

Jerome Hill Artist Fellowship
Jerome Hill Artist Fellowships support Minnesota/New York City-based artists, early in their careers, who generate and create bold, innovative and risk-taking new work that explores and/or challenges conventional artistic forms.  Fellows receive $50,000 to support self-determined activities for creation of new work, artistic development and/or professional artistic career development.

Studio Museum: 2020-21 Artist-in-Residence Program

The Studio Museum in Harlem offers an eleven-month studio residency for three emerging artists working in any media. The program is designed to serve emerging artists of African and/or Afro-Latinx descent working locally, nationally, or internationally.
