LIVE MURAL BATTLE

Following the release of the Bronx Brewery Y-Series Blacktop Imperial Stout beer release on Saturday, January 15th, they will be hosting a live mural battle. They are looking for 3 artists to compete live in front of fans on the 15th at 6pm. Each artists will be provided a canvas to create a "Pets in NYC" themed art piece. Artists may choose to work with the preferred medium of your choice and will be given 1-hour to complete. Renowned Bronx artist, CES, will judge and announce the winner and all pieces will be donated to The Humane Society of Westchester.

MUSEUM PROFESSIONAL SEMINAR

Museum Professionals Seminar is a program designed to provide professional development inspired by the Studio Museum’s mission. The Seminar is a series of educational workshops aimed at supporting museum professionals looking to incubate, ideate, and network. The program promotes discussion, interaction, and exposure with special attention to skill-building and career-readiness. STUDIO RELIEF PROGRAM

NARS Foundation’s current open call accepts rolling applications from NY based artists who are in need of temporary studio space and unable to afford it. he subsidized Studio Space will only be available for the stated period. Princeton Arts Fellowships will be awarded to artists whose achievements have been recognized as demonstrating extraordinary promise in any area of artistic practice and teaching. This Public Art Mural Grant is a four-week residency in which an artist will create an original work for WSW’s mural wall. #GoodArtFam is looking for muralists to participate in the beautification of Neval Thomas Elementary in Washington D.C. AMPLIFY GRANTS

Designed for artists of color, AMPLIFY is a publicly-funded grant created with the intention of investing in artistic success. The AMPLIFY grant aims to provide artists with a chance to invest in their professional development by celebrating awardees with a one-time grant of $500. There will be two cycles of this grant to address the needs of artists at different stages in their careers.

CITY OF THORTON RENEWABLE ENERGY PROJECT

The city of Thornton is seeking to commission original public art. The Oregon Arts Commission’s Art in Public Places Program is seeking artists to respond to their request for qualifications for a commission at the Oregon Supreme Court Building in Salem, OR. The commission artist(s) will create new site-specific, interior artwork in the building. Artwork will reflect the Oregon Judicial Department’s values to provide fair and accessible justice services that protect the rights of individuals, preserve community welfare, and inspire public confidence. AMPLIFIER #VACCINATED ART CALL

Last year, in response to COVID-19, Amplifier launched a Global Open Call for Art to promote public health and safety, wellbeing, and social change work. One year later, incredible scientific progress means that this pandemic can end but only if we can get the world #vaccinated. BROOKLYN PUBLIC LIBRARY

The Black American Library Card Project is a community partnership and open call for art for a limited-edition library card celebrating contributions and culture of Black Americans. This summer, Brooklyn Public Library will release a limited-edition library card celebrating Black American culture and history, in partnership with Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams and Brooklyn’s Community Boards. The card will be released as part of Brooklyn Public Library’s Juneteenth 2021 celebrations, the first year this holiday will be recognized as a City, State and public school holiday.

This fellowship supports immigrant creatives working in narrative art forms as they build their professional practice and network. The City of Durham's Cultural and Public Art Program commissions a variety of public artworks in collaboration with City departments and other organizations engaged in capital development projects across Durham, North Carolina. LAKE COERY D'ALENE , IDAHO

Coeur d’Alene is a resort city in northern Idaho, located on picturesque Lake Coeur d’ Alene, where visitors from all over the world enjoy the region’s sparkling lakes, green forests, and bountiful rivers, along with mountain and water sports. This Request for Qualifications is for art that will be located on the East exterior wall of a new public parking structure located at Fourth Street and Coeur d’Alene Avenue in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. The goal for the piece is to significantly beautify one of the primary pedestrian and vehicle passageways of the downtown core. The art will be installed vertically, anchored onto a wall made of concrete masonry blocks. Submissions of murals (painted directly onto the wall) will NOT be considered.
