As the Public Art Coordinator, I joined the 100 Gates Project team and spearheaded its expansion outside of lower Manhattan. Started by the Lower East Side BID, the 100 Gates Project is a beautification project aimed at connecting business owners and the NYC artist community to beautify underused canvas-metal rolldown gates. Over 18 months, the project expanded to East Harlem, 6 neighborhoods across Staten Island and Flatbush, Brooklyn. I recruited 200 small businesses, working with community partners and coordinated with artists to create over 300 murals and hosted a number of public programming events.
